Rest in Peace

This year Easter Sunday was not a day to celebrate Christ's resurrection, but the day we found out that Adam's mom passed away. We knew that she was ill, but we didn't know to what extent. By evening, we were on a long road to Texas.

Latricia Austin lived a long life in her 62 years. Extended family, close family, and friends from her past made it over to the house to visit with Olbert, Adam's dad, sister, and us. Adam's Aunt Betty and Uncle Johnny, Latricia's brother and sister, made it all the way in from the Dallas area. People Adam hadn't seen since he was a child, were there to pay their respects.

After a few days to say good-bye, we made our way back home to Arizona. She will be missed by family and friends. May she rest in peace.
